One end-to-end agent run — from trigger to final output. Retries and sub-agent calls within a single task don't count separately.
What happens if I hit the API spend cap?
Agents pause cleanly at the cap. You get an alert, and can raise it inline or approve overage. No surprise bills.
Can I bring my own model keys?
Yes, on any plan. Point Grain at your Anthropic / OpenAI / self-hosted endpoint. You pay the provider, Grain runs the orchestration.
Do you offer a free trial?
